Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire

Oscar GraduatesNortheast Rehab enjoys a special partnership with the Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire (BIANH).  We are supportive of each other’s efforts to provide services to brain injury survivors and their caregivers.

The Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire is the only state-wide organization in New Hampshire dedicated to brain injury and stroke support, prevention, education, and advocacy for survivors and caregivers.

Each year they help over 1000 people in New Hampshire who have sustained an acquired brain injury.  The programs and services that they offer are so important to further education about these injuries and support those in need.  We encourage you to contact them for assistance as well as make a donation to their organization.

BIANH also sponsors a new community support group for veterans across all eras and wars. This group is open to veterans with TBI but all veterans are welcome. The goal of the support group is to provide veterans who have suffered from a brain injury and/or stroke during their military service or not – a chance to connect, share experiences, create bonds and establish support networks. The group will have an open discussion format with the occasional guest speaker or specific discussion topic.  This group meets every 4th Wednesday of the month from 6:00-7:30 pm
at the Brain Injury Association of NH located at 52 Pleasant St., Concord, NH 03301

For additional information contact Kyle Cunha at the Brain Injury Association of NH at 603-225-8400 or Kyle@BIANH.ORG.  The veterans support group is facilitated by Kyle Cunha – Veterans Coordinator at BIANH. Kyle is an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran who served over 26 months in Iraq as an Infantryman with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
