Mission Statement

Northeast Rehabilitation Health Network is a dynamic, responsive healthcare organization committed to the provision of quality rehabilitative, educational and wellness services that are customer centered, ethical, comprehensive and accessible. The dignity, rights and confidentiality of our customers are vital and paramount to our core beliefs. We provide services within a continuum of care to individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by illness or injury in order to restore stability and maximize their potential for independence, functional abilities, and quality of life. In addition, we provide services that encourage individuals to enhance and maintain their physical and emotional well being. Our customers include: patients, families, physicians, referrers, payers, employees and the community.

To meet this mission, we must:

  • Continue our leadership through an integrated effort across the network in the delivery of rehabilitation services within our local and extended community.
  • Offer programs and services that are guided by a commitment to customer service and are delivered by courteous, caring, and competent staff. These programs and services are continuously reviewed in order to improve the quality of our care and of our organizational performance.
  • Provide customer centered care using resources effectively and efficiently within the hospital, in the customer’s home, at our satellite facilities, in the community, and in partnership with other healthcare facilities, organizations and industries.
  • Maximize patient outcomes and statistically demonstrate the clinical effectiveness of our programs using data/documentation that is reliable, accurate and timely.
  • Maintain an atmosphere conducive to healing, recovery and wellness that addresses the diverse needs of persons of all age groups and backgrounds served by the network.
  • Provide our patients, employees and volunteers with an environment that adheres to industry standards for safety, cleanliness and infection control.
  • Value and recognize our employees through compensation that is equitable and consistent with market standards, reflective of their skills, competencies, experience and educational backgrounds and provide opportunities that are stimulating and supportive of their personal and professional growth.
  • Adhere to fiscally responsible practices that support quality care while ensuring the long-term profitability of the network.
  • Strictly ensure confidentiality by safeguarding information regarding our customers.
  • Develop and strengthen partnerships within our community that are congruent with our philosophy to promote health, wellness and prevention.
  • Support the rights of individuals with disabilities through the identification and removal of architectural, attitudinal, employment and other barriers.
