What type of spiritual support is offered to patients and families?
We recognize that the healing process must include all dimensions of a person’s life. Pastoral Care Services provide emotional and spiritual support for patients and their families, responding to the needs of persons of all beliefs. A Pastoral Care Chaplain assists patients and families in finding meaning and purpose in life events and enables growth within their own spirituality or religious beliefs and practices. The Chaplain assists patients and families in fostering hope: in changing what can be changed and in coping positively and peacefully with what cannot be changed. Patients and families may request a pastoral visit by calling the Chaplain’s Office at extension 5516
