Women with this condition may experience discomfort while sitting, with urination and bowel movements, and during intercourse. Our therapists offer a comprehensive program for women with:

  • Sacroiliac Dysfunction (to pain in the sacroiliac joint region)
  • Interstitial Cystitis (also called painful bladder syndrome)
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Endometriosis
  • Vulvodynia or Vulvar Vestibulitis (unexplained vulvar pain)

Our therapists offer an individualized treatment plan, which may include:

  • Biofeedback
  • E-stim (electrical stimulation)
  • Modalities to address pain
  • Exercises and manual treatments designed to realign joints and strengthen or relax muscles

Treatment includes individualized education sessions to allow the patient to continue techniques at home to prevent recurrence of symptoms.
