The Vestibular and Balance Program at Northeast Rehab provides a comprehensive and targeted evaluation and assessment of multiple vestibular and balance problems. This information is used to develop a specific plan of care to aid in the recovery from often debilitating symptoms. The goal is to identify the particular cause of symptoms and implement treatments aimed at relieving the possible dizziness, spinning, issues with falling or unsteadiness you may be experiencing. A team of trained therapist is available to work and guide you on the road to recovery.

Symptoms may include:

  • Increased incidence of falling
  • Walking deficits
  • Unsteadiness
  • Leg weakness
  • Staggering or Veering
  • Dizziness or Spinning
  • Lightheadedness
  • Vertigo
  • Nausea or Vomiting
  • Motion or Positional Sensitivity
  • Blurred Vision, especially with movement
