Our Parkinson’s Support Groups help you continue your therapy after leaving NRHN and connect you with other Parkinson’s patients.
Parkinson’s Disease affects approximately 1 million people in the United States. While there is no cure, managing the disease and delaying its progression is possible. This is why we have created specialty Parkinson’s programs; we want to help you in your fight against this disease.

Support Group: Offered the second Thursday of each month from 11-12. It is open to the public for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their loved one’s. The group provides guest speakers, addressing topics of interest along with emotional and peer support.

Support Group: This 60 minute session is open to the public and offers a traditional emotional support group during which participants share challenges and triumphs in their personal lives.
This group is offered the third Wednesday of each month from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at our Portsmouth, NH location.
Graduate Bootcamp: This group meets once a month for NRHN graduates of the LSVT BIG or LOUD programs in order to help clients continue to practice what they have learned and strengthen their commitment to improving their lives. This 60 minute session focuses on upper and lower body multidirectional movements needed for sitting and standing. Additionally, there is also a voice exercise component.
This program is offered the third Wednesday of each month from 11:00-12:00 p.m. at our Portsmouth, NH location.
